Chrome suddenly not loading anything.

I've been using Chrome since the release and it is far and away my favorite browser, but suddenly earlier this week it's started refusing to load. I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it and that worked for a while, but then without reason or explanation it starts not working again.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I really don't want to have to go back to using IE.

I have the same problem, except It only loads like 1/3rd of the images on a site and every now and then the site won't load at all.

I know it's chrome cause IE works fine, but I don't want to stop using chrome
