ennifer A. Hradil concentrates her practice on business litigation in both federal and state courts. She has represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes, including antitrust, securities, business tort, professional malpractice, breach of contract, intellectual property, and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Hradil has significant experience seeking and opposing applications for emergent and other injunctive relief. She also has represented clients in class action and multi-district litigation.

Ms. Hradil’s representative matters include:

1. Defending a national law firm in a malpractice claim alleging multi-million dollars in damages.
2. Representing former customers in connection with the Madoff SIPC Liquidation, including asserting securities fraud claims against a former officer and defending the SIPC Trustee’s application to stay that litigation.
3. Defending a biotechnology company against a multi-billion dollar antitrust claim by a competitor involving an alleged illegal handling arrangement.
4. Representing a leading medical device manufacturer in numerous matters to both enforce and defeat restrictive covenants in sales force contracts.
5. Representing a national firestopping manufacturer and distributor in obtaining preliminary injunctive relief against a competitor in an unfair competition matter.
6. Defending the sole shareholder of the distributor of a dietary supplement in the context of one of the largest bankruptcy cases in New Jersey.
7. Representing foreign national in multi-billion dollar estate dispute.

Ms. Hradil is also a member of the firm’s E-Discovery Task Force, an interdisciplinary group which provides counseling, training and litigation-related assistance to companies on a full range of information management and e-discovery matters. Ms. Hradil has experience developing case-specific protocols for and supervising the collection, review and production of documents in many matters, including those involving large amounts of data and documents. She frequently advises clients on issues related to information management and litigation readiness and develops and presents educational programs on these issues. Ms. Hradil has also published and lectured on best practices in these areas.

Ms. Hradil began practicing in 1998, following her clerkship for the Honorable Morton I. Greenberg, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She has also served as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, where she taught legal writing.
