User-Agent Fail?

Postby johnywhy on Fri Aug 10, 2012 5:41 am

hi
in chrome 21, setting user-agent to iPhone does NOT display pages the way my iPod iOS 5 displays pages.

page i'm testing: bayviewfootprints.org

here's how the page looks in Safari and Mercury browsers on iPod:

here's how the page looks in Chrome with user-agent set to iPhone iOS:

Ignore the slideshow in the center of the page. The element I'm concerned with is the calendar widget. On iPod, it spills over the other elements to the left. In Windows Desktop Chrome UserAgent iPhone iOS, it does not.

The calendar widget is an iframe which points to a php file on my server in the same domain as my site. That php, restylegc, points to google calendar.

i checked the site on several iOS simulators (web-based and user-agent chrome extensions). None show the calendar overflow problem.

would be great if readers out there could browse to the site on their iPad/iPod/iPhone and see if they see the same problem
bayviewfootprints.org

thanks!
