Chrome nag panel on opening

I have been playing with Chrome now regularly - Firefox is my default browser - and I rather like it.

But PLEASE is there way to stop that irritating nag panel popping up every time I open the browser ? There really is no need for it to pop up every single time I use Chrome. There should be a "Do not show this message again" box to check. See :-

It is a real "Put off" when I HAVE Windows XP, SP3 and Chrome should detect it. This message is a pre- installation message NOT a successfully installed browser nag panel.

It drives me crackers.

SOLVED

I right clicked the Chrome icon on the desktop, then Properties>Compatibility and unchecked the box saying "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 2000".

The nag panel has now gone. On clicking the desktop Chrome icon - NO NAG PANEL - it goes straight to the browser Home Page.
